Nowadays, Passover is one of the most important public holidays in Israel and is celebrated for a week. On this day almost two thousand years ago, Jesus Christ invited his disciples to celebrate Passover and pointed to the house where the last supper was to take place.
And we can replace a whole week of celebrations with one syringe.
It is interesting to consider the emotions and gestures of the other participants in the picture in this context.
a. What gave you the idea for your project?
Weight loss with Semaglutide, which is part of Ozempic, is now on everyone's lips. And of course it all started with TV stars. More and more often we hear this: lost weight on Ozempic, this one lost so many pounds. And so on...
After that, I thought it would be nice to compare it to a meal, one syringe once a week, and the most famous painting with a meal is, of course, Da Vinci's The Last Supper.
b. Where did you find the images you used? (Please provide them if you can), what file types were they?
I asked Google to find me a high quality of The Last Supper, but with Ozempic it was difficult, the syringe itself is small and unsightly, and also blue.
c. Explain why and how your arrangement of these elements communicates what it does.
Naturally, I placed it in the center of the plate. which stands in front of Jesus. And all the apostles in the picture are looking there, and we see different emotions, and all together it's very funny.
d. Problems and successes? Yes, I know this is a sensitive topic for some... but what went right? What went wrong? Take a step back and separate the technical/applied difficulties from the visual/communication problems.
Probably, finding the idea was a little easier for me than working in PS. This was the first time working in this kind of program, and accordingly, I think it turned out a little rough.
